In 2023, the preschool that once operated for 20+ years in this building closed its doors, leaving many families – including the founders of the new Spokane Valley Montessori – disappointed and heartbroken. It was a difficult time for our community, and the experience left a lasting impact on us all.
Since then, a group of former parents and community members have come together with a shared vision: to open the school with a fresh start. We are proud to introduce a new Montessori preschool in the same location, now operating as a non-profit – 501(c)(3) – under entirely new ownership and leadership. While we are not affiliated with the former administration, we’ve taken important lessons from the past to heart.
